Thanks for the comment. I do proofread (one word) my posts but I believe that this was the first blog post on the site. I know that there are some errors in this and probably some of the others but I’d rather spend time writing about food than trying to make sure that this blog post follows all the AP Style guidelines. Not trying to discredit my blog or anything but this isn’t a newspaper or magazine with an editorial team who are paid to proofread. However, imagine that… Eat It, America…The Magazine…it would be uber glossy…

This is my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in town and I have been to them all. I highly suggest the Pho, the flavor of the broth is incredible. Note to reviewer if you want to be a writer you should proof read your work before publishing it.

The fresh spring roll with shrimp is a must have and I get it every time I go to PHV. There is a really simple dish, the sliced pork with rice, that is really good. My other favorite is the beef stew noodle soup. As you can see, I love this place.

Thanks Kate! I tried Banh Mi about six months ago and got the Banh Mi Vietnamese sandwiches. I guess I hit them on a bad day because I didn't really enjoy but I do need to give that place another try. Thanks for the reminder!

If you like Vietnamese food, and you're in Greensboro, you should go get a sandwich from Banh Mi Saigon Bakery on High Point Rd. It looks like a total hole in the wall and the things for sale on the counter look dodgy, but it and Pho Hein Vuong are among my two favorite restaurants ever.

Good Lord, man! You can't go to Pho Hien Vuong and not try the Pho--it's fantastic. Probably some of the best I've tasted anywhere. And, yes, the other dishes are outstanding as well, and the portions are more than generous. Also, the place has been there for ages, and it seems to be the choice of Vietnam Vets and many Asians ... need I say more?
